View Full Version : Herman Cain Typo? Cain's PAC has taken in only $16K this year? But there were 10K at announcement?

My concern has to do with the Iowa straw poll....and numbers. I knew his folks flooded straw polls, but I didn't know he'd be able to come up with those sorts of numbers.

The Atlantic quotes politico saying 10 K were there: http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2011/05/introducing-herman-cain/38004/

That's in line with the rally and R3volution march, granted Ron had dropped out by then, if it's true.

OK, never mind, they have changed it, and now clarify that that is based on his campaign's report - and it is now 15,000 per them.

I have seen no estimate of numbers from a neutral source.

That's impossible, I doubt anybody but Obama could pull out 10,000 at this very moment with less than a week notice.

I'm positive it wouldn't have been less than a week's notice, he is just below the radar.

Was a Ron Pauler there to scout enemy operations? Photos who prove how many.

Zogby had Cain #2 in the polls. It was pre-Huckabee dropping out, putting Huckabee at only 4%. What a joke. Who is behind the fake Cain support?

Zogby had Cain #2 in the polls.

That doesn't mean anything. Zogby does online polls that anybody can sign up to participate in. They're worthless. I think Ron Paul finished second nationally in one of those Zogby polls before. When Cain is #2 in PPP, Rasmussen, Gallup or something like that: then I will be concerned.

10,000-15,000 is a lot. But the guy is a popular radio host in Georgia and Neal Boortz promotes him. A Georgia poll has him at 16% support here. So it's the one state you can (as of now) expect Cain to do well in; even when he's at 3% nationally and in Iowa.

It is though starting to feel like Cain is 2012's Ron Paul in terms of grassroots support. But let's see if it translates into fundraising (which is probably poor now), and/or good poll results from real pollsters both in key states and nationally before hitting the panic button.

I saw one picture of a tightly massed crowd but only a bit in front of the stage, so I couldn't tell if they were just a couple hundred standing and pictured in such a way to make it look larger or what.
