The Ron Paul Movement woke me up with the first ever money bomb. Since then, I have been reading a ton and writing songs about the liberty movement. I now have 11 quality tunes that need to be recorded and distributed (iTunes/Amazon). I am raising funds on Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/e/4pH9k/projects/1333646414/animal-spirits-full-length-album) for this project and I have tons of goodies for those who help.

(Feel free to tell me how to make it better!)

Without money - what do you really need? What resources?
Like I have the numbers of a few audio engineer that are Paul supporters... etc.
There is a guy that kicks out DVD's at cost....
Forget money and the system - what RESOURCES do you need?
ps: pretty good vid!

I'm raising funds for better recording equipment or studio time. Mid-range recording equipment is cheaper as I can spend as much time as needed to get the job done. I also want to get the album mastered. That is around $500. Distribution will cost $50 or so.
Thank you for responding. :)

Love the project and the idea.
Hope to see this come to fruition sooner rather than later!

Maybe start a chip in and itemize what you are looking for with their costs? This would be a great way for the internationals who can't support the campaign directly.

You could save money by getting a quality condenser mic, a good preamp, and recording software like Pro Tools and just record it yourself.
Just a thought...

I know that through Kickstarter.com anyone from any country with a major credit card can back the project. I'll see what I can do to make it easier. Thanks!

Could you pm me some contacts of audio engineers and DVD/CD guy? I can do the production myself (I just need better equipment) but I am up for other options!

This is the way I want to do it. Now, I just need to raise the funds to make it happen. :)

Don't spend a lot of money. You can use a program like Record Producer pro (1000 audio tracks possible, both midi and mic'ed inputs) and get high quality mics for less than $100 on Amazon.com. You're throwing money away by using a studio unless the studio has some amazing equipment that you can't get along without.
