Great to see a progressive liberal not be silenced by one of his own. Even if we vehemently disagree with his socialist policies, at least he's not flipflopping on fundamental issues just because a black man is President.
Any chance we could get a Cornel West endorsement for Ron Paul? I mean, the libertarian platform would present key issues to help minorities:
1) Decriminalize drug possession and use, which would empty a lot of people from federal prisons who were there for nonviolent drug possession or use
2) End the income tax -- the middle class would by far and large benefit the most from a repeal of the 16th Amendment
3) Civil rights -- libertarians and progressive liberals agree on gay marriage rights and all individual choices
4) Foreign policy -- Not sure about this one exactly, but I'm inclined to believe ending the bombings, bringing the troops home, nonintervention, peace, free trade, and diplomacy with all nations would be seen favorably.
5) Sound money -- the Middle Class would THRIVE off stable prices combined with no income taxes.
6) RP voting record against TARP bailouts (which was the basis of this article)
