I don't know where else to post this... The lovely city council members of Cordova, AL are telling the victims from the April 27 tornados that they cannot put a FEMA trailer on their properties because it violates city code and they won't budge. (http://www.cbs42.com/content/localnews/story/Cordova-FEMA-Trailers/uqc6-RGqUkO6V8wCWBmIPw.cspx)

Be a voice of liberty on behalf of these people! Explode their phones!! ETA: City Council Meeting scheduled Tuesday, May 24th at 6:00 P.M. at the old National Guard Armory.

When the hell did Walker County become a place with stringent codes? Ludicrous!

the south, it seems, is trying to become like the North - everywhere I turn cities are trying to implement ridiculous code and enforce them.

Of all the reasons not to let FEMA 'help' . . . code violations were the best they could do?

This. No way these guys will get re-elected. I can't imagine a more elitist dick move, and I've been following the federal government for years!
