I like this article because it was based on a comment by yours truly.

I was miffed by the silly first class article, so I contacted sources at US Airways to confirm the real facts of the story and posted in response to the FMNN article that mentioned the CNN attempted smear piece.

Digg it.

I was just wondering why it matters if anyone flies First class?

I am just a truck driver and over the many flights I have taken I have been bumped up twice and paid a nominal fee and took first class. I loved it each time and if I could afford it I would fly first class every time.

I would expect all of them to fly first class. To me for them not too is just showing me that they are being fake and trying to "act" like us normal "smucks". That rings so fake to me.

Great work Bossobass on getting the ball rolling on exposing what was either shoddy reporting or bias--or both. :-D

Yes he is indeed. I was hoping he had gotten some rest and now I read he only had a couple of hours. I am much younger and need more than that. I asked them up there to treat RP well and it seems they kept him up late partying.:D

Great detective work!

I don't know if you saw my write-up on CNN's piece about why they pulled the "who won" posts, here:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=2761

CNN claimed that serving up that little page with a few hundred posts (a whole 112K file) caused "strain on resources"- that's didn't pass the smell test for me so I found a Sun Microsystem press release bragging how in 2000 their system helped CNN.com serve up a world record number of 150 million page impressions and accommodated more than 6.3 million visitors during the 2000 election. Yet, a few hundred Ron Paul supporters were too much for their system. Who are these people kidding?

That's all the "dirt" they could dig up on Ron Paul, that he flies first class. Too funny.
