I was there at 11:30 this morning with my slimjims and other literature. I was afraid it was going to be a miserable day with the 100% chance of rain forecast but it turned out to be a successful day with hardly any rain at all! By 12:30 we had about 20 meetup members there with 3 "Ron Paul for President" banners, 1 Street-Width Ron Paul rEVOLution banner, signs, dvds and handouts.

An airplane with a banner saying "Ron Paul for President - Bring the Troops Home Now" was supposed to come down from NH and circle overhead, but it was called off due to the weather. It will fly tomorrow before the Patriots game over Gillette Stadium instead.

We were cautioned about going to this anti-war rally because of the possible association with some of the radical socialist groups present. However, there was no problem - we just claimed our own territory along a path with lots of people walking by and where no other group was set up.

One thing I quickly noticed was that this anti-war crowd was much more receptive to our "Ron Paul message" than at the Obama rally we went to last week. I talked to a lot of people including an Iraq War veteran who came down from VT who supports Paul. There was even a woman who said she voted for Dr. Paul in the past. One thing I have to say is MANY KUCINICH SUPPORTERS ARE RIPE FOR THE PICKING!. Denny K. was the only other candidate there with visible support. (Although I did see an Al Gore '08 sign... WTF?) Kucinich supporters are seeing that their candidate will not make it to the white house. Ron Paul is the only other choice! After returning to the Common after the march around Copley Square a guy from CT came up to us and thanked us for being there. He said that two of his friends were Kucinich supporters, but by simply seeing the big Ron Paul presence - they had decided that they would register Republican to vote for Dr. Paul! Score!!

YEA!!!!
You guys are great.

We did the same thing at the philly anti-war protest today. Same resuts. Alot of Kucinich supporters... but we had even more Paul supporters! We owned the rally, and convinced many kucinich supporters to our side. We will have pictures up soon.

That was interesting to hear about the Kucinich supporters. Kucinich was the only other candidate besides Paul to have any visible support at the Salt Lake City rally as well. I found it quite telling that in such a liberal crowd, there were ZERO signs of support for Billary and Obama.

I swear the only people that like Obama and Hillary are the media and themselves.

There were 9,500 Obama Zombies at a rally in Boston last week. :(

Yea... The philly peace rally was about 2,000-3,000 people strong. NO hillary or Obama support present at all. These people were super liberals. We had code pink, the socialist groups, and your run of the mill democrat. I talked to everyone there about RP. NO ONE said they were a Hillary or Obama person.

Paul support was the largest
Kucinich was half the size.
And NO other candidate was represented at all.

Dennis is the only one with any decent number of signs up in New Hampshire as well. But we still have them well outnumbered. :)
I'm really hoping that with Hillary's statement that she won't get troops out til at least 2013, combined with Dr. Paul's unswearing dedication to an end to this war and his commitment to civil liberties will bring many of his energetic activists to our side after Dennis bows out.
