They don't even mention the good Dr. in the article.

He's not doing anything??? I don't see his name mentioned once in the article.
And with only a little over 1000 pollers....that doesn't mean much.

Whoops, I should have specified the online poll. Sorry.

Nah...it's all good...I voted in the poll. I was just commenting on the ridiculous article.

Tancredo has 52%

This poll lists the results nonintuitively. F Thompson is the one with 52%, Paul actually has 16%.

Dr. Paul crushed everyone except F. Thompson. 17% when I checked.

I posted this poll earlier, if you want to see where Paul was when the post was first made the post is under the "Phone & On-line Action " forum.

Wow Tancredo is kicking ass, as you can see immigration is the issue here in Cali. Tancredo has done a good job of being the goto man on this, although I think that can only take him so far... Aaah an endorsement would do wonders for RP in Cali.

Guys/Gals,

Read the poll carefully. Number for the candidate is on top of his name, not on the bottom.

Tancredo has only 2.1%

What I think is so funny is that the excuse we get for the polls not being accurate is, of course, because us Ron Paul supporters are spamming or primarily on the Internet only.

If this is the case, then why do they continue to run these polls, why do they reference them in articles, and when are they going to stop insulting Americans by claiming they are too stupid to use the Internet and vote in online polls???

Who's going to believe your polls if you need a disclaimer on RP every time you refer to it?

UnF&*(ing believable!!

Paul's not included in the damn off-line poll. Read the question:

This is a big deal. I registered just to talk about this. This is a much, much bigger deal than the online poll.

The LA Times is conducting a scientific phone poll - and leaving Paul's name off of it. Paul is not one of the choices on the phone poll, even though Gingrich [who isn't running] is on it, and even though Tancredo, Huckabee and Hunter [who all are certainly "second-tier" candidates if Paul is] are on it.

This poll is one of the polls used to support the MSM claim that Paul doesn't have any real world support. OF COURSE HE HAS NO SUPPORT IF HE'S NOT ON THE LIST OF CANDIDATES IN THE POLL.

The LA Times' phone number is 213-237-5000. I think everyone who objects to this deliberate and deceptive marginalization of Paul's candidacy should call and complain.

If you refresh the page and watch the "total responses" column, it will go up by 10 every 5 seconds or so. As does Fred Thompsons percentage.

Use this as fuel for your fire. Fuck the media.

They are excluding him. Get out and hit the streets. Tell everyone of your neighbors. They most likely do not know who Fred Thompson nor Ron Paul is.

Get the word out. Get the word out. Get the word out.

Don't let these people get away with this.

Yes, this poll can be spammed by simply clearing all cookies and temp files, and then re-voting...

Another one of those disclaimers are needed, oh wait, RP isn't winning. Ok, then no disclaimer, exept when mentioning second place, .... oh I'm confused!! (I can see how hard this is going to get for the MSM - which poll counts, which one is spammed, etc., etc.)

wwycher

MSM just won't quit supporting "their" candidates.

after I voted
RP - 25.6%
FT - 45.8%

THEN I read the post to refresh. When I did:
RP - 25.3%
FT - 46%

TELL me something very fishy isn't going on in the People's Republic of Californication!

(under breath) "Ok. If I just put some logic in here....if vote=RP, then RP=RP+1 and FT=FT+5.

Interesting, yup you can vote multiple times, just need to close then re-open your browser. I've voted for FT multiple times( I don't do this at all, just wanted to experiment), and total responses seem to go up by about 30 counts every 30 seconds or so. The LaTimes doesn't have that much traffic, does it? Especially to something political.

Looks like the votes are going to TRudy in a pink dress, and sleepy-eyed Fred...

That MSNBC web tech changed his logic to:

If vote=RP, then RP=RP-1, FT=FT+5, and RG=RG+10;

Q: If the Republican primary or caucus for president were being held in your state today and the candidates were Sen. Sam Brownback (Kan.), former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, former Gov. Mike Huckabee (Ark.), Rep. Duncan Hunter (Calif.), Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), former Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.), Rep. Tom Tancredo (Colo.), former Gov. Tommy G. Thompson (Wis.) and actor and former Sen. Fred Thompson (Tenn.), for whom would you vote? (Includes leaners*; among people who say they'll vote Republican in the primary)

No mention of Ron Paul in this "Scientific" poll. I suppose it was sponsered by Fred Thompson.

I don't know whats going on here RP has had a stagnant 7% since yesterday with Tancredo leading with 44% I do agree that the actual printed article is more important, I'm going to give LA Times a ring. Its funny how they elude to 10 candidates within the article itself, yet fail to even list Ron Paul in the poll. They are going to get an ear full next time they call me to buy a subscription to their rag!
