NEW ORLEANS, La – At 4:36am local time on May 14th, Mike Church completed final production on "Road To Independence: The Movie." During the final session, an additional 20 minutes of original orchestration and score were added as well as over 50 surround sound effects. In all, the effort has proven to be worth it as the latest offering from Founding Father Films promises to be as groundbreaking as previous releases from Church and Founding Father Films.
"I feel like I just gave birth to a founding document," says Church. "This film will thrill entire generations of movie fans whether they are familiar with the story or not. 'Road to Independence: The Movie' is suspenseful and patriotic - even hilarious in places, but it is riveting throughout."
Church adds that this labor of love wasn't his alone. Aside from the support of his fans, Church says his creative team clearly put their hearts into the project. "This story shows what a dedicated group of skilled, independent artists can achieve on film when they put their mind to it. My team's efforts are beyond superb, they are inspired!"
"Road to Independence: The Movie" will see its official release on May 24, 2011. The film will be available to retail outlets with general theatrical release to follow. Requests for screenings of the project have been pouring in from around the country. Planned venues include George Mason University later this year.
