Reagardless of wether you think "Opaeration Trump" was some democratic plot or not, latest poll shows that only 47% still believe that Obama was definitely born in the US.
His approval numbers have also fallen as AP is accused of cooking up his poll numbers in earlier reports:

Polls prove that a lot of people are stupid. This also shows why RP will have a very difficult time getting enough support to win. Despite what some supporters seem to think, I don't think the stupid people are likely to support a candidate like Paul. Those people tend to NOT be pro-liberty or open to persuasion. Are all about ignorance, scapegoating, and just as "socialist" as their perceived enemies.

Five Percent Still Belive Obama Definately Not Born in The US

Depends on how you want to interpret the numbers. Take the other end and you can also say that only five percent believe he was definately born in another country. Add in "probably" and you still only get 13 percent think he "might" have been born someplace else. The number of "birthers" has fallen roughly in half. Definately born in the US is ten times the number of those to say he was definately not born in the country. Add in "probably" to born in the USA and you get 65% think he was at least probably born in the USA. Saying it the way it is presented in the headline could make a person who does not read it carefully think that a majority of Americans think Obama was not born in the USA which is not true.

Birther stats are a side show mostly, more important number is his strongly approve/disapprove index of -13 !

That number could become bigger as his so called bounce completely dissipates in days ahead.

Looks like the O/Usama bump didn't last long. That's a good sign. :)

Historically, the presidents approval rating hinges on the economy and jobs. As we get closer to the election, the government will continue to downplay these numbers. We just need to keep pointing out the fact that making Big Macs are not real jobs...lol

Even if Obama sent a high alert on terror threat months before election to everyone's cell phone in America , economy would still be on voters mind?

Is that why you made it the headline in your post?

Even with that, polls show him beating any mentioned contenders. Congress has even lower aproval ratings.
