The newspaper, citing a Port Authority spokesman, said Strauss-Kahn, also a possible Socialist candidate in next April's French presidential election, was arrested minutes before he was to due to fly to Paris from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

The Times quoted authorities as saying Strauss-Kahn was accused of a "sex attack" on a maid at a Times Square hotel earlier in the day.

The arrogance of power. Truly, the international politico-financial elite is full to overflowing with sociopaths, criminals and sexual deviants. The more they are exposed to the searing light of publicity, the more those things they do in darkness are held up to the light, the more people will realize who are the real serious thinkers and who are the real kooks.

Or he needs to be removed for some reason and this is a great way to destroy his reputation, a la Assange.

The International Monetary Fund has diplomatic immunity. The IMF is a sovereign nation.

This has not precedent, no reason and no justificaton. But, since they're powerbroker psychos, I guess it certainly has purpose.

IMF=sovereign nation, but not Pakistan.

Hope y'all will excuse me, but I need to figure out how best to lampoon the living snot out of this insanity.

So, is the Sovereign Nation of International Monetary Fund next to Burmanimar?

This will be interesting to watch. How much of it is "this guy", how much is dirty politics?

How much is it the shuffling of the deck?

Should we hope the data from the BlackBerry he left behind is "leaked?"

Should we hope the data from the BlackBerry he left behind is "leaked?"

That depends. Exposing the truth is always good.
Was it left behind? was it found deliberately?

Was this guy a thorn is someone else's plans?

I am no fan of the IMF, and would welcome any black eye they get. But This may be much about nothing, or some staged game.
I really don't know at this point, which is why it bears watching.

Yeah, well, maybe we'll learn something about their internal politics by watching this play out, and maybe the press has already dropped the whole thing like a hot rock.

Let's don't be spectators, let's be players in this drama. Is anyone out there still pissed over the bailouts besides me? Bankers without a country getting diplomatic immunity. Diplomats get diplomatic immunity; hence the name. Bankers? The IMF isn't a country, it's an effing bank.

We can get people up in arms about this, if we push the right buttons.

Outstanding! That's one to Twitbook.

You know, I haven't heard much about this goofy-assed notion of trying an Irishman named Assange for treason under U.S. law since I and some others lampooned the notion publicly on the 60 Minutes website and other places. Is diplomatic immunity for an effing banker any less goofy?

"Diplomatic Immunity" - that is really obscene! - fortunately, the IMF said he was not on official business, so couldn't invoke it. Still why do BANKERS have diplomatic immunity?

Also, he was staying in a 3K a night hotel? I thought 5 star hotels were like $1,000 a nite, and 5 stars were it - what is this a 15 star hotel that the public never hears about? - I'd think a place like that would have hot and cold high class hookers on tap. WTF??? Maybe his maid rape fantacy order was late and it's just a big mis-understanding....

Yes, it is. But the thing that could actually be used to piss large numbers of people off is the fact that they'll use any trick in the book to let him get away with rape.

Have no worry, I'm sure he will "commit suicide" in his cell, or fall down the stairs, breaking his neck before he gets to open his mouth.

Hay just go to the gas pump or grocery store and check out your buying power... Wow! and you are not even tramatized or sore... (well, maybe the former) DANG! - These guys are good!

Wow. Didn't hear that part. They folded that weak-assed bluff in an awful hurry.

This isn't them conceding victory to us, though--this is them conceding a minor battle to win the war. But they did say it. The notion of banks having diplomats is now out there. Let's not fail to use this to get as many people laughing at the powers that be as we possibly can.

Because we all know how much they love being laughed at.

Many of the elites are control freaks and sexual deviants so this is not surprising.

There are basically 2 things that can happen here. The IMF can get him off, or they can throw him under the bus. Neither will look good for the organization. Of course it doesn't really matter as the IMF isn't elected and answers only to the Zionist/globalist elite.
