I just went on a 2 1/2 hour canvass. We went around a very Republican area of NH...think woods, long driveways, pickup trucks, American flags, support our troops bumper stickers, and houses with porches with dogs guarding em...ect.

Many people were home. It was just done raining hard and now it was foggy. So we got to present Ron Paul to a lot of people and 99% of them HEARD of Ron Paul...we asked. I think one or two didn't hear of him but were interested after we told of him. So this is great news, I don't know if it's debates or just TV appearances, grassroot efforts, or what, but Ron Paul has recognition in this neck of the woods.

That is definitely encouraging to hear.

We got some "no thanks" responses but I have my good reasons for believing that those people were Democrats besides them actually telling us, because some refused to tell us their positions on anything. Like one was a homoesexual who was not interested and knew who he was voting for...so it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this one out. Honestly though, this was only a handful of people and they wouldn't be able to vote for Ron Paul anyways.

Dr. Paul has pretty good support in the gay community.

New Hampshire is probably one of the most politically aware states in the country due to their early primary. Its little surprise, then, that he polls higher there than anywhere else.

I guess i'm thinking about Ron Paul saying he supported don't ask don't tell. Personally I don't care either way.

This is EXACTLY what we need to be doing everywhere. :)

Basically this thread is to show that there are a lot of undecided independent and Republican voters and that you all should not be discouraged and now you can work harder! :D

Well if you're gay and you want to get hitched, but don't want to live in a socialist commune, RP is the only choice.

Too bad the sun did not come out and give you a marvelous rainbow to go with your efforts.

We as the grassroots level people need to do our part and tell people face to face, up close and personal about Ron Paul, and let the pros on Ron Paul's staff handle their part.

Just because some do not like the ad, doesn't mean it is not effective.

It took me awhile to "get" the new Wendy's commercials - the ones where different people wear the Wendy wig, but I hear it is the most popular TV Commercial Wendy ever had!

Keep your eyes on the prize people!

In Washington State, Ron Paul is everywhere already, and in people's yards, not just on the side of the road.
