I posted this article of mine on DailyPaul.com and saw my traffic skyrocket! They liked it a lot (even put it on the front page). I attempted to take information from polls on which Republican nominee has the best chance at beating President Obama, these are my findings:

Welcome jaktober, this might be the best first post i've read on this forum so far :D

I think your article is persuasive and can convince doubters that dr Paul is electable! I think this should be spread to those that have a problem convincing their family and friends.

In a second article you might include recent strawpolls, online polls, the military pie chart of 2008 election, and some other positive accomplishments that add to the electability of Ron Paul. We could do with more of these posts and videos like your article.

Paul has even recently stated that he would pardon all non-violent drug offenders that are currently in prison if he were elected President.
I believe Paul said federal prisons, not all prisons.

According to this study (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBYQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pewcenteronthestates.org%2Fup loadedFiles%2FPrison_Count_2010.pdf&ei=QArOTaP1LMn00gHvzPSQDg&usg=AFQjCNGTf7G6d7teXCl6B2HwS47fiCa7gA), there are 1.4 mil people in state prisons and 200,000 people in federal prisons. So pardoning drug offenders in federal prisons won't have as big of an effect as pardoning all drug offenders.

I believe Paul said federal prisons, not all prisons.

As POTUS, I don't believe he'll have the authority to pardon state prisoners.

yes exactly. I was pointing out the factual inaccuracy of the article. Great analysis overall though.

Good eye! That is a typo on my part, or rather, a lack of clarity. Yes, the President can only pardon people in federal prison. I just made the correction. Thanks for the comment!!
