I keep seeing that George Phillies for President banner on this forum. Seems ridiculous that another libertarian is running. I'm wondering if there are really ANY anti-Paul libertarians out there besides Phillies.

I can think of two more. There's Eric Dondero, a disgruntled former Paul staffer, but he's not really a libertarian (he's on several occasions argued that libertarianism isn't a political philosophy but rather just a combination of social liberalism and fiscal conservatism).

Then there's Robert Milnes, some nutjob running for the LP nomination who keeps on blabbing about how Ron Paul has no chance to win while asserting that he somehow does. And he's also not really a libertarian either.

I chose Huckabee. I decided I'm no longer going to support Ron Paul anymore because of that horrid ad he's putting out in NH. Sorry, such is life.

You shouldn't make such rash decisions. That decision may cost you thousands of dollars in taxes every year for the rest of your life. Maybe you should at least sleep on it.

You've got to be kidding! So, let me get this straight. Because of one ad, you're now going to vote for continuing the war in Iraq, starting a new one in Iran, more taxes, bigger government control of your life and furthering the Patriot Act and the loss of habeas corpus?

Did you forget what you said you stood for in your sig?

Many of you are taking these forums too seriously. You need to be able to take this stuff with a grain of salt. Unless it is a thread about real action and planning it is just filler.

Here is an idea: chill out.

So no one is voting for George Phillies?
Why does that guy keep spending money on ads that are doing nothing?
He should be spending that money on Ron Paul ads. He's making himself look ridiculous.

Lets think here.

I have got nearly 1,100 post on these forums. Would I invest that amount of time and finger power only to not be actually voting for Ron?

I did vote for Mike in the poll though, since I thought this was a satire poll considering its location.

I will absolutely not vote for Phillies just for that reason.

He should come out and endorse Ron Paul, pronto.

I know they left out hillary clinton

That is an extraordinairy statement, for someone who lived through the attacks of 911 to come out and vote for a dem when the whole world is tripping over themselves to blow our country and freedoms to kingdom come....where the hell is your HONOR????

No wonder snuffllepuffleofigis has just bet his every cent on RP not winning this poll.

Should have put "Write in George W. Bush for the third term" option.

what kind of poll is this?

I wanted to prove that George Phillies is being not only selfish but foolish by running ads on this site and trying to recruit us away from supporting RP.

In the future, I recommend the use of end tags like --> /sarcasm or even a cute little winky smiley face --> (^_~). Sometimes, words alone aren't enough to convey a message across.

There are several people on here (including me) who are so cynical that, yes, we'd actually believe if it if someone said "I won't support Ron Paul any more because of that stupid ad."
