I tend towards scepticism, but when Cain comes out of nowhere to get 50% of the vote immediately after the creation of each new poll, I tend to get a bit wary. We should keep a close eye on the Cain situation.

Do you find this whole polling process somewhat suspicious? Especially considering the multiple polls, omission of vote counts, and torrent of votes for Cain despite his anemic online presence relative to Paul?

The day after the debate he was up by 40%. This is just an old poll and all the Ron Paul fans voted immediately after the debate. It's dead now. But I wouldn't put it past Fox to use the poll on TV now that Cain appears to have won.

SimpleName

I don't see this being all too surprising. Fox adamantly pushed Cain after the debate. The dumb-dumbs would of course all vote for him. Least principle, most votes. The American people are a smart bunch.

Something is seriously up with his online presence in general. I have encountered a TON of spam pages with Herman Cain Stuff in them. Like enough to make me think that it is the reason he is trending. A bunch of spam pages plus remember all of those Youtube pages that were coming out of India about him? All at the same time. Plus I still can't find a picture of his wife, a problem with him exclusively....that leads me to think things have been scrubbed. I bet he hired one of those "control your reputation online" companies. I'll find some links to add in here when I get a chance but IMO his momentum is manufactured.

I think we need to seriously open up to the possibility that this is being rigged. Ron Paul has an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking online cadre, and he is currently being beaten by Herman Cain, a relative unknown with no great discernible online presence. Yet, he's keeping even with and even beating RP. Not to mention the omission of vote counts and the multiple polls.

I suspect they are going to leave it up until Cain is "leading" by at least 2-3%, then take it down and declare him the winner.

Because Cain is friends with the Koch Brothers, and once on the board of the Federal Reserve, I suspect he will be the GOP candidate, and they are already promoting him.
