WASHINGTON - A new picture emerged Thursday of what really happened the night the Navy SEALs swooped in on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan.
CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports the 40 minutes it took to kill bin Laden and scoop his archives into garbage bags were all recorded by tiny helmet cameras worn by each of the 25 SEALs.
Officials reviewing those videos are still reconstructing a more accurate version of what happened. We now know that the only firefight took place in the guest house, where one of bin Laden's couriers opened fire and was quickly gunned down. No one in the main building got off a shot or was even armed, although there were weapons nearby.
I bring this up b/c I was really pissed when I saw that story about the 25 minute video blackout:

Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout during which the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was cut off.
A photograph released by the White House appeared to show President Barack Obama and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound.
But notice it does say the live feed was blacked out. But apparently the whole thing was recorded according to CBS. So it's good to know that are claiming to actually possessing the entire recording - it's something that people can pressure the White House to release. But like the photos, I'm not counting on it. But if Obama can release a damn birth certificate after over 2 years of pressure (even if it is questionable), he can be pressured again (though he could work it to his advantage as an October surprise)
