Disgraced Iraq war general who was implicated in Abu Ghraib torture ( LINK1 Sanchez in the frame (http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/06/13/1087065033862.html) , LINK2 (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/aug/28/iraq.usa)) to contest for Texas Senate seat as a democrat. I was expecting Rumsefeld or Cheney to be recruited by Dems but he maybe the next best thing:
