Today my aunt and grandma bought me lunch for my birthday which is on friday. During lunch I brought up the statement from Osama's family, demanding proof of his death. My grandma, an Obama supporter, rolled her eyes and said, "Oh they're just trying to kick Obama out of office. It's just... propaganda."

I paused for a second and realized that she believes the official story without any doubt, and thinks the letter from Osama's family is contrived.

Wow.

It's part of the great schism that divides our nation's people and keeps them controllable. I'm gonna guess (probably right) that if this were a Bush administration, she'd be kicking up dirt to demand proof of Osama's death.

'Our guys are saints and the other's are demons', nonsensical mentality.

They're almost all demons in my opinion.

Yeah, but there's enough people who don't see it that way, for the two-party system to still exist.

Has the CFR been this effective? Or, is this just the nature of nations whose citizens have other priorities?

Divide and conquer, my friend. And yeah, the Democrats and Republicans do it VERY well.

Yes, they have.

What does a think tank have to do with any of this?

the line I used was, Government lied to get us into this war, lied to keep us in it, only seems fitting they'd lie about winning.

You would need to look into their founding and their guiding principals.
For that you need to understand Fabian Socialism. The CFR is the American branch of the Fabians.
Then simply look and see how far and wide the tentacles of that philosophy and organization run.

Or do you have trouble seeing the forest for the trees?

There are so many lies in the world that a few people here will hold on to one lie as if it is the absolute truth, but a few people that view things from an ever so slightly different perspective will hold on to a different lie as if it were also the only absolute truth.

There is but one truth. The world is full of lies.
