Great audio clip of Joe Rogan talking about the drug war and Ron Paul. Joe has a huge mancrush on Ron Paul, says he is a "bad m*****f***er" and "he's the best".

Perhaps the most vulgar yet impassioned Ron Paul endorsement I have ever heard. I love this audio clip. And I have to say, Joe Rogan is one intelligent m*****f***er.

I respect Joe Rogan. He's a little nuts but really smart and sticks to his principles. Also I think it's ballsy to be upfront about smoking weed on the show.

if you think that is surprising, you should hear what he has to say about DMT ;)

How much would it cost to sponsor a UFC fighter and get a big "Ron Paul 2012" on his shorts?

"Gary Johnson is Ron Paul without as much Jesus. I don't mind Ron Paul's Jesus."

Nevermind....

The UFC is now charging prospective sponsors a $100,000 fee for the right to sponsor fighters that appear on UFC broadcasts for a six month period. This eliminates all the small-time sponsors because they may be able to pay $1,000 to a fighter but they aren’t paying $100,000 to UFC for the right to pay $1,000 to a fighter.

Nevermind....

You might be able to get the Ron Paul UFC guys to do it for nothing, if that's possible.

Or we could give Joe Rogan a Ron Paul tshirt to where while announcing.

Have you checked out what strikeforce charges?

Ya can someone answer this? I'm in the middle of his most recent one right now, can't wait to get to this part! I listen to all his podcasts, they rock.

I was actually going to put a montage of Joe Rogan together for some of the religious and pro-life folks on here. I don't think he's pro-life from a legislative standpoint, but I think a lot of the religious and pro-life people would appreciate some of the stuff he's been saying lately on the subject of religion and abortion.

I'd love to see a Joe Rogan YouTube montage. That would be very useful.

It's the one with Bryan Callen which was done earlier this week.

Joe Rogan is one of the best minds working in comedy today.

I thought it was terrific that Bryan Callen had good things to say, too. He's a very funny guy, and a MAD TV alum from the early days of the show when it was the funniest thing on television.

If he does it because he wants to, and we don't give him $1,000... then that ridiculous rule wouldn't apply.

In case you didn't know the UFC has bought out Strikeforce. I don't know the exact terms of the deal, I do know that Strikeforce is still holdings it's brand name, and operating on it's own to a certain extent. But the Ron Paul 2012 advertisement idea is a very good one. The UFC caters to the military, it is sponsored by the Marines, it routinely gives out free tickets to Active Duty members as well. We could bring in a HUGE amount of military support.

Anyone have the capibility to look further into this?

I've been posting to Joe Rogan's messageboard on occasion the last few months. I'm pretty sure it gets more traffic than this site, but I'm not sure. People on there are about 50/50 Ron Paul fans, many "non-fans" like what he has to say on the war but don't like his economic philosophy. I posted the Hayek/Keynes "Fight of the Century" video and had some arguments with some Keynesians a week or two ago.

If you want to venture over there to post, know that you will be exposed to pornographic imagery and probably much more.

Feel free to make friends with myself and ClayTrainor, who is a relatively long time poster over there.

I love Joe Rogan and his endorsement would be huge for the campaign. He's got the number one podcast on iTunes pretty much every week and claims to reach almost half a million listeners. I know he's also really active on twitter (@joerogan) so we should try to point him towards some Ron Paul info that way.

He actually retweeted the video in the OP earlier today

Amazing Amazing! @joerogan on Drug Laws & Ron Paul & @GovGaryJohnson in 2012. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmvkedziZY4

and he retweeted another Ron Paul video a few days ago of Ron Paul speaking on the House floor about medical marijuana.

http://t.co/Y5ShnRE @joerogan Ron paul fuckin preached it on the marijuana debate today!

I remember he tweeted out a video of Ron Paul's floor speech on Wikileaks a few months ago too.

I am looking into it. I'm guessing we could raise 1,000 in about one day so it is worth the effort. My brother in law has a small MMA training facility in western Mass and is friends with some guys that train with Gabriel Gonzaga. I talked to him earlier today about it but is going to take some time as his second child (my niece) was born early this morning. I'll post what I learn, when I learn it.
