Sweet. Looks like all of the money bombs are going to happen, because no one has agreed on the dates. Oh well, ten bombs at a million each is as good as one ten-million-dollar bomb, except for the news impact.....

Bump!

I have to say, this is just a terrible idea. There is no way this is going o be successful at all. I'm telling you, don't do it. It's not worth it getting over-excited about every little moneybomb idea that comes up.

I will still make an attempt at donating, though.

It amazes me how everyone seems to know whether or not a moneybomb will succeed months before the date. Moneybombs are a very organic and largely unpredictable. It's difficult to gauge what will catch on and what won't. Sure, you can predict the night before approximately how much money will be raised based on pledges.. bet c'mon.

Also, this moneybomb isn't going anywhere. The radio show will be featuring Benton and Paul, so you can bet the PCC will be pushing it.

The two biggest moneybombs of the 2008 campaign were about 40 days apart, and we even had smaller moneybombs in between those.

Yes. This needs to be pushed. We've got $300K pledged. The campaign needs money FAST and EARLY this time, plus Ron will have announced so we should have more enthusiasm. Lets get this moneybomb going!

I think the last one was too early. It should have been scheduled for the day he officially announced. I was waiting for him to actually get in before I started contributed because I was tired of all the pussy footing around (and I was nowhere near a computer during the 5th bomb anyway).

I know it's stupid, but I would have already contributed had he kept the ticker up. But now I feel compelled to wait until the next bomb day. And I'm sure there are people who only just learned about him in the days following the debate. So I'm totally cool with another money bomb so soon. It's not like a massive fundraiser, like the first tea party, really gave us much publicity anyway. Hell, even most of the current tea party doesn't remember that event.

I think it's a good idea....but the dates should align with the other money bomb dates.

I'm sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop. I was looking for the next money bomb date, and this was the only one I found. What are the other dates?

Needs to be late June or July 4th.

Is the campaign backing a specific date (since they'd have to coordinate by putting the ticker back up)?

$100? Sure. FIAT money isn't going to worth anything unless Dr. Paul becomes president anyways...

Money bomb? Way too soon. People need to realize these are only effective when they are well planned, rare, and meaningful events.
