Ron Paul is No Longer on the Fringe -- Here's Why
http://articles.mercola.com/ImageServer/public/2007/10--october/10.27ronpaul.jpgRep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) raised $5.1 million in the latest fund-raising quarter, surprising much of the political world, and perhaps even himself, with his success.

Paul’s supporters, who maintain a notable Internet presence, are drawn to his message of “limited government and following the Constitution” -- and they’ve been coming out in full force to help give Paul a real chance in the upcoming presidential elections.

I’m compelled to share Paul’s views with you because, more so than any other candidate, Paul supports health freedom in the United States.

Earlier this year, for instance, Paul introduced a bill (The Health Freedom Protection Act (http://v.mercola.com/blogs/public_blog/Ron-Paul-Introduces-Legislation-to-Limit-the-FDA-s-Authority-Over-Supplements-16520.aspx)) that would strongly and positively affect Mercola.com and many other natural health organizations and advocates, along with the field of natural health in general.

I believe that his ideas have the power to prompt real positive change in the U.S. health care arena. If you want to hear more from Ron Paul, and see if his ideas resonate with you, check out RonPaulaudio.com (http://www.ronpaulaudio.com/).

I've been subscribing to this newsletter for some months now, I guess I'll have to start reading them instead of filing them in trash from now on! :)

there is no way that guy has 1.2 million email addresses with a Google Page Rank of 3 on the site.

Just a question, does the medicine there actually work?

I'll just bet that given his support for Dr. Paul that his page rank goes UP :D

I get some good information and ideas from his site. There are a lot of good alternatives to conventional medicine that are cheaper and work better, but of course get ignored. I'm not afraid to try different things.

It's entirely possible.

This is absolutely great! I've been suscribing to his newsletter for years and wonderd if he was a supporter.

This has the potential of being huge in the natural food movement and getting our man alot of new exposure.

Are you kidding? Google Page Rank has little, if not nothing, to do with traffic. Check out Alexa for a better indication:
Mercola.com vs. RonPaul2008.com
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?site0=www.mercola.com&site1=www.ronpaul2008.com&y=t&z=3&h=400&w=700&range=6m&size=Large&url=www.mercola.com

Yes, with traffic like that it is very likely he has 1.2 million people on his email list.

It's a shame he didn't link to the official site :)

Throw up a chipin donation widget? We'll help...

You should setup an Amazon S3 hosting account and have all the audio files there. Then you could scale without worry really...

I have some bandwidth to spare, I'll PM you and can remote host some of the larger files today if that will help.

Just received an email from the surge:
This bums me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!:mad::mad::mad:

Hi,
Just to let you know, it took around two minutes for your site to open and the first video would continually stop and go. I have high speed so the 'hourglass' is not at this end. Hopefully someone or some 'entity' is not screwing around with your site. As an alternative physician I DO want to know more about Ron Paul. I will try again later...
thanks,
Dr. Haskell

Let us know if we can chip-in or check if there are people who can help you out with extra bandwith. This should be taking care of rightaway.
