Ron Paul isn't and his reasons are well founded. One of the reasons that he states is because that torture will eventually be used against us. Look at Manning.
I'm thinking of it like this: If it worked, if it was right, it would have been placed in our constitution for us to use against American "terrorists."

Tactic Reasons for Not Torturing:
Wasn't it George Washington who made sure he treated the British POWs like kings because he knew that they would love our country once released? In other words, they wouldn't be so inclined to harm America once released.
