*IF* Ron Paul is not nominated for the Republican Party, whom will you support in the ballot box?

Explain your answers below.

For me, I will vote Libertarian. I know this will guarantee Obama's second term, but I know Obama will win vs. whoever the republicans pick if its not RP, and I want Fox to realize that Libertarians are a force to be reckoned with and to finally recognize us as credible.

Probably no one on the Federal Ballot. Locally whichever Free-Stater runs whose positions most match mine (aka smash the walls of coercion with Natural Law).

I think if any of the third parties have a shot it is the Libertarian Party.

Depends on who the Libertarian candidate is.

Bob Barr = not voting
Mary Ruwart = voting

If Ron Paul isn't on the ballot the next time I vote for president will be Rand Paul in 2016.

Probably for the Republican candidate, unless they nominate a horrible ticket.

The primary will be the last time I vote... unless Ron Paul wins. The only exceptions will be to help "primary" incumbents or to directly vote for ballot measures that restrict government, or against ballot measures that empower or expand it. I know this is heresy, but I am no longer a follower of the national religion, the Church of Democracy.

That ^^^ Which is what I did in 2008.

And will do again in 2012.

I don't give a shit what the establishment does or says.

If there is an election, and I'm still alive and kicking, I'm voting for Ron Paul.

Probably Obama. Not because I agree with him, but if someone like Romney wins, we're doubly screwed. If Obama wins a second term against a typical Republican, it gives us more time to influence the party, and sets Rand Paul up for 2016. If a Republican wins, we're pretty much shut out until at least 2020.

This!

If the LP thinks they can win my vote by running some philosophical lightweight like Bob Barr or Wayne Allen Root, they've got another thing coming. Maybe they think they're reaching a broader base with those guys, but the tallies from '08 show that the party isn't doing any better now than when they were running fully-fledged Non Aggressionists.

Republican. Write Ron Paul in.

Writing in a candidate who hasn't officially registered as a write-in candidate is not counted as a vote.

If Ron Paul endorses somebody, I'll vote for them. If he doesn't either a) write his name in, b) vote for CP/LP/other candidate, or c) vote for Obama just because FUCK YOU GOP!!

Not in the primary, but in the general it would probably be something where I would hold my nose and vote for him simply to get rid of Obama. I wouldn't donate money to him or campaign for him though.
