Around 1:03:20 in on the May 6th interview.

or http://www.gcnlive.com/programs/peterSchiff/archives.php

May 6, second hour, about 7/10th in.

Mentioned how likes how Herman is not a part of government - though he knows that Cain was a former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City...how more charismatic he is than Paul & Johnson, supports his "foreign policy", etc.

Caller thinks we can "mold him" into a Ron Paul.

Write an email to peter schiff and explain to him that HC:
- supported the bailouts and tarp
- rejects an audit of the fed
- has a neocon foreign policy position which means he is for BIG GOVERNMENT = deficit spending.

There is no way Schiff would back Cain.

Schiff:
"I think it'd be great to see him run against obama, you know one of the things that always bothers me is when people accuse me or other people who don't support obama for not supporting him because he's black. They say it's racist, well you know you completely take that away when you support a Herman Cain, I mean first of all, Herman cain is blacker than obama, you know obama's half-white. I think Herman Cain is great. So if people like Herman Cain but reject obama it's obviously not because they're racist, it's because they reject obama's policies. They reject his ideology, they couldn't care less what color he is because they like herman cain. And again, I don't Herman Cain because he's a black man, I like herman cain because I like what he stands for. I like his ideas, I like his experience, I like his understanding, I like who he is as a person. "

And basically ended with the caller suggesting that Ron Paul and everyone else should get behind Cain.

WTF!!

lol, Schiff would never endorse Cain. And there is no way this Cain is going to be molded. Although I know Cain supports the gold standard.

Maybe Schiff could explain just what these ideas are, because his official website and debate statements don't seem to nail it down for me.

Why would anyone who likes Ron Paul even think twice about Cain (excepting white guilt)?

My email to Peter Schiff:

Peter,

how can you support Herman Cain? He is the total contradiction of a libertarian. He doesīnt even stand for the principles of the tea party:
- he supported the bailouts and tarp ( http://www.unitedliberty.org/articles/7552-why-im-not-excited-about-herman-cain )
- he rejects an independent audit of the fed (watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caeNXivEGEg&feature=player_embedded#at=125 ) . Is it a coincidence that he was the kansas city fed chief?
- he has a neocon foreign policy position which means he is for BIG GOVERNMENT = deficit spending to fund the unnecessary military operations overseas.
- thinks itīs ok to waterboard someone (he said this during the first gop debate)
- endorsed mitt romney in 2008.

Again: Why do you tell people you would support him on your show? He is a joke.
