The guy who wrote this hit piece, Chris Malagisi, is going to be running CPAC. What a jackass!

The comment by john_hogan, after the article, is priceless.

Why do Republicans let people like Ron Paul and Gary Johnson participate in Republican presidential debates? They are obviously trying to win the “Who’s more Libertarian?” or “Who’s the least Republican” debate as opposed to the actual Republican debate taking place.

Glad to see all the comments were great. So this guys main argument is that Paul and Johnson's views are acceptable under the conservative big tent but we do not want anyone running for president who holds these positions. We need sellouts that are willing to believe everything and nothing because the Republican party is just too big to have one person running on his own personal beliefs. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up. ;)

Those comments were awesome.

Yeah. I didn't see a single comment defending Malagisi or the crap he was spewing.
Maybe there's hope for America, after all.

Maybe some of Ron's positions are "far left" except that they transcend the left/right dichotomy.

Also, zero chance of winning? When Paul is polling the *strongest* vs. Obama?? Does this guy think CNN is a libertarian propaganda institution or is he just ignorant of recent news?
