For a Foreign Policy discussion, I was looking up Bobby Kennedy's supposed pro Israel speech that allegedly motivated Palestinian Christian Sirhan Sirhan to assassinate him ( LINK (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?290110-AP-report-claims-Bobby-Kennedy-was-not-assassinated-due-to-his-pro-Israel-stance&p=3239166&viewfull=1#post3239166) ) and came across this remarkable JFK speech where he almost sounds like a conspiracy theorist at 1:50 into this clip:

He's not very explicit, does anyone know who/which secret group he is referring to?

He was speaking to the Press Club about the dangers of Communism if I recall correctly.

He was speaking to the Press Club about the dangers of Communism if I recall correctly.

Was JFK referring to commies here?

"Even today, there is little value in ensuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be siezed upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limit of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent its in my control."

I assumed he was referring to neocons.
