Im sitting here with my wisdom teeth pulled and I've been thinking....

It would be absolutely amazing if Colbert could stage a special episode of his show in which say 15 to 20 minutes was faux presidential style debate with Ron Paul. Colbert could really rip into the idiotic neo-con talking points by expressing them in their true fashion. He could get the audience to loudly boo Ron Paul whenever he says stuff like "We need to follow the Constitution."

It could even culminate in a trounced, out-debated Colbert pushing (in a safe manner of course) Ron Paul out of frustration and lack of a comeback.

An event like that would bring huge publicity to Ron Paul. Maybe we should talk to Colbert's producers.

It would be funny, I wonder if RP could keep up with him.

That would be funny but also scary, the Neo Cons dont know the difference between satire and real life. What if it goes the other way and we end up with a bunch of crazier stuff then we have now. I think it woujld be best for one of the drop out candidates to take this on.

I think Colbert would have to make his satirical jokes very easy to understand similar to what he did at Bush's whitehouse press dinner. It was obvious there that he was mocking neo-conservatism.

This is a real real good idea. Its one of the few good ideas that is in the absolute best interest of the media itself.

A debate b/t Paul and Colbert would have mega mega ratings

Wonder if we could get Ron Paul to loosen up enough to actually go on the show and do it.

What about Colbert's legal troubles surrounding his bid?
