"Mr. Paul also brought up the legalization of heroin. “How many people here would use heroin if it was legal?” he asked the audience, which again erupted in applause."

i just felt they completely missed his point.. i mean he was pretty much arguing for state rights to determine that stuff...

but they print... who wants to legalize heroin? cheer!!!! completely misses his point and makes him sound like he wants everyone to use heroin.

Studies back up Ron's point:

http://www.csdp.org/publicservice/zogby2007.htm

If hard drugs such as heroin or cocaine were legalized would you be likely to use them?

99% SAY "NO"

Zogby International asked that question of 1,028 likely voters. Ninety-nine out of 100 said "No." Only 0.6 percent said "Yes."1

Misleading truthful statements and outright falsehoods join forces, here. It is an outright lie that Ron Paul "brought up the legalization of heroin," and thoroughly misleading to say that he subsequently asked "who would use heroin if it was legal?" to thunderous applause in a manner which makes it sound as though he was encouraging heroin use and his supporters were cheering the idea.
