I have to admit that Cain at least isn't nearly as bad as Pawlenty and Santorum.

Herman Cain (born December 13, 1945) is an American newspaper columnist, businessman, political activist, and radio talk-show host from Georgia. He is best known as the former chairman and CEO of Godfather's Pizza. He is a former deputy chairman (1992–94) and chairman (1995–96) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

Cain supports economic stimulus, saying: "We could grow this economy faster if we had bolder, more direct stimulus policies,"

guys I was thinking .. This isnt necc as bad thing. I think the large majority (98-99%) voted for Herman Cain because the following candidates werent there (Palin, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Bachmann, Huckabee, Trump, among others). Ron Paul is still doing very well! I want him on top though :). This will perhaps make cains numbers go up (he is behind paul in every poll) and the 'real' front runners numbers go down.

I really hate this deferrment to 'advisors' and 'generals'. Do you not have a philosophy of your own Cain? It is also easy to defer the criticism off yourself and to them, which I think is one of the thing that most irks me about the whole thing and Democracy. No one takes responsibility for anything.

Ron Paul's winning here: http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/05/05/poll-who-came-out-on-top-in-the-first-republican-presidential-debate-2/

I went to Fox News' wall and, the top three listed on the poll are Cain, Johnson and Pawlenty. You have to click "3 More..." to see Paul, Santorum and No Winner.

Cain automatically inherits all the Fairtax supporters and activists. They are largely why Huckabee got some traction last time. For that reason don't underestimate Cain even though he starts with little campaign infrastructure. I think he will prove to be the Teaocon's Ron Paul this cycle. He'll get a lot of support from the talk radio crowd and also because he's black and I think a lot of Tea-Party types will jump at the opportunity to support a black republican candidate as a way to inoculate themselves of being called a racist for opposing Obama.

No they didn't. I was one of only 2 of RPFers actually there, and trust me, 90+% were senior citizens who did not know who Herman Cain was until he spoke. I heard many of them talking about suddenly liking Pawlenty and liking Cain.

Really, the only reason he is doing well in some of these polls is because he's black. Tea partiers have been called racists for years, so subconciously they are happy trying to prove skeptics wrong. He would be polling less than Buddy Roemer if he was white.

Perhaps I'm wrong here, but I have no intention of having a Facebook account. As much as people are worried about their privacy, many get an account where they proceed to tell the world, their life story.

I Just can't bring myself to get an account just so I can vote in some poll and I'm pretty sure many other Paul supporters feel the way I do.

I Just can't bring myself to get an account just so I can vote in some poll and I'm pretty sure many other Paul supporters feel the way I do.

Then don't. If you know how to properly use the internet and protect your privacy, Facebook shouldn't be a problem. I have a personal account on Facebook that I only have 40-50 really close friends. I don't have any personal information on it, I don't 'like' anything, I don't say my favorite TV shows, etc. It's basically blank. Then I have a few pages that I have made that I use to vote and comment on certain pages on Facebook with. In this instance, yes. They see him as a person they can use that you cant use the race card Obama supporters love to use all the time.

I seriously doubt it. This "they only like him cause he's black" argument is tiresome. Maybe some people actually agree with his ideas.

Especially considering these are Republicans we're talking about. I'll admit Obama gets 90% of the black vote. I doubt Herman Cain gets 1%.

I think this has to do with Eric Bolling filling in for Beck. Yesterday was a Ron Paul love fest with the Judge, today it's Bolling :(
