Wow ... how can they get it so wrong? How do they not realize the binding force is the Constitution?

They have been taught not to think such.

Yea, maybe I'm wrong, but he doesn't want to ban abortion, does he? He wants to give the power to the states thus overturning Row v Wade.

Yeah you are right ... they just keep saying this. What they mean is he wants to "ban" it at the federal level, which is all they hear.

i cant believe they never stop misrepresenting RP ..... oh and he's nutty,.. i talked to someone who said RP was the Ross Perot of this election? i didnt know perot., is this a slam?

thinking it should be illegal and actually wanting to pass the federal law are different things. just like it doesnt really matter what he thinks about capital punishment since he's not able to do much as president other than pardon/commute the sentence which he wouldnt likely do

They really showed how much support he has though, and it's great!

I think Tucker likes RP, but he doesnt want him to win because then he would be a majority, and his spot is to be a minority libertarian.

I thought this was great. Tucker is playing it up for the interviewees to defend Paul, whenever he has Dr. Paul on, he gives him a lot of latitude.

Much better than most of the drivel that Faux puts on.

They don't get it wrong. They want us to get it wrong.

No. This is not a slam.

Google Ross Perot.

Tucker is like your friend who introduces you to your girlfriend than proceeds to tell your girlfriend all your flaws.

Or the guy who starts dissing his favorite indie band becuase they supposedly "sold out".

On the abortion remark, Tucker knows Paull better then that. I don't know why he says things like that. I'm starting to think he's like the sister-in-law everybody has, you know, the one who likes to stir things up just to watch the fireworks. Of course, that's how all these "news" talk shows are. They're all just another "reality tv show" and not very good ones at that.
That being said, I'm happy Ron is getting alot more attention. He even comes through the negative stuff looking good most of the time. He is taking some reporters to school isn't he! Onward and upward. I'm doing extra work to donate more and I'm looking for big things in November. It's getting exciting!

It's press. Embrace it!

It's not their fault they are intellectually unequipped to understand the constitution. They went to public schools.

What's a good reply when someone freaks out about "going back to the gold standard"?

you are correct ... tucker needs to be corrected on this issue.

but overall i think this was a positive segment. This is proof that our emails are working! The many media rank and file are becoming aware that they should not misrepresent his views. However, they need to be further educated.

tucker needs to be educated by us on this. Ron Paul is not advocating going back to the gold standard. He simply want gold to be legalized to compete with the dollar.

What's a good reply when someone freaks out about "going back to the gold standard"?

Easy ... he doesn't want to go back to the gold standard, he wants to create a competing gold/silver backed currency.

LOL ... if he's flamboyantly eccentric, then how would you describe the person people most often confuse him with, RuPaul? :D

Tucker knows exactly what he is doing. He's expecting Ron Paul supporters to flood his email to show to his bosses that MSNBC needs to cover him more because of the entertainment value.
He's helping Dr Paul. MSM is about entertainment not hard core news and facts. All the hard core investigative journalists died a long time ago.

By the way, one of the women, Rosa Brooks, talking with Tucker about RP had a pretty darn good opinion piece on Iran yesterday in the LA Times.

It's from September, but I hadn't seen it yet. Hilarious!

Oh, thanks for this. I didn't realize it was the same person. I read that article yesterday. Bush does display sociopathic traits, and it's not the first article to point that out.

He is not helping him with this rhetoric. It would be cool if he said things like " I know he's crazy, wanting to follow the constitution, end the war, eliminate income tax" just absolutely insane.....and see how they respond to that, instead of that abortion bit, and the rest.:mad:

What I took from the story was; If those reporters know so much about Ron Paul, how come I don't. What's wrong with voting for the same old same old? You get more of what you had.
