DNA is NOT full proof without chainlinked proof. It can be faked by taking two samples from the same source. Hwang woo Suk did this when falsified his stem cell cloning project in South Korea. He did fool the journal Science which is the most rigorous journal. Obam case is weaker than Hwang Wook Suks case for his cloning project and Suks was fake.

I'm more concerned about how they managed to do facial recognition techniques on a guy who was shot in the face twice...

It wasn't matching Osama DNA to Osama DNA, it has matching his DNA to family members' DNA. To be sure, you'd have to verify that the Osama DNA sample really came from Osama instead of matching 2 other members of the bin Laden family

Matched to what? The U.S. is believed to have collected DNA samples from several of bin Laden's family members during the decade since the terrorist attacks of 9/11. According to an ABC News affiliate in Boston, one of those samples belonged to bin Laden's sister, who died of brain cancer about a year ago at Massachusetts General Hospital; after her death, government officials were reported to have taken some of her brain tissue for genetic testing.

DNA matching suggests with 99.9% certainty, officials said, that the man killed by a shot to the head in a compound in Abbottabad, a town about 75 miles north of Islamabad, was Osama bin Laden.

Hell, we could have gotten DNA evidence from him back in the 80s when we worked right alongside him. All they need is a strand of hair from his beard.
