Seems we've all been slacking, I did a search for the RP and C4L, 9/12, and TEA party meetups in my surrounding area, and none of the RP related meetups had the moneybomb and debat announced.

Additionally, none of the 9/12 or TEA party groups had the debate announced. These would be a good set of groups to add events to and plug RP in a non-direct/subliminal way.

I posted the following event (and emailed it to the meetup)and sent e-mail notifications for 3 of my local groups. Please post in this thread to confirm your meetups have the event announced =)

This is an ONLINE event: The first nationally televised Republican presidential debate in the 2012 election cycle will be held on May 5, 2011 at 9PM on Fox News. Because of this, it is imperative to showcase Ron Paul as the leading frontrunner in the race. On May 5, 2011, we will hold an online money bomb in support of Ron Paul for President 2012. A money bomb is a 24-hour fundraising event aimed at dramatically increasing funds for a specific candidate. In November 2007, Ron Paul raised more than $4.2 million in a single day. In December 2007, Ron Paul raised the most money in the history of American politics in a single day, raising more than $6 million; a record that still holds strong to this very day.

Please invite your friends, and tell them that it is essential that we all donate to Ron Paul on May 5, 2011, in preparation for the first nationally televised Republican presidential debate for 2012. It will air on Fox News at 9PM.

The money bomb will be held on Ron Paul's official campaign website, which you can find at http://www.RonPaul2012.com/. Our goal is to raise $2 million; If we show him enough support, he will announce his official candidacy for 2012.

Interesting. I'm not sure how to find the groups?

Go to meetup.com and search for your city or zip, and "Ron Paul" , "Tea Party", "Liberty" etc. lots of different local meetups to join and chat with and send information to. Most of the "Ron Paul" meetup groups seem to be dormant, still with "2008" in their titles.. Just waiting to be re-activated. In 2008 I think meetup.com was a big contributor for disseminating information with regard to money bombs and other events.

The Tea Party ones just need to be nudged with links to liberty friendly news articles, IMO.
