Not sure if this the official fake one, or the unofficial fake one. Either way, doesn't look "grotesque" enough to be the CIA's fake photo.

Looks fake. The wound doesn't look real.

Most militaries wear the flag on the left side, I believe.

We're going to see how good the CIA really is. Will it be a good fake photo, or a bad fake photo? :) They'll probably have to unthaw his body first then touch it up in photoshop.

Ours doesn't that i know of its always on the right sleeve (could be wrong when it comes flight uniforms)

I bet the original photo is from a movie or show since they have to mess up at least one part of the uniform.

On zerohedge someone also commented that the wound is in the wrong eye. Probably mirrored picture.

I didn't notice that. My thought is "Why is the gunshot on the wrong side". Supposedly Osama Bin Laden was shot over the left eye and not the right eye. Yesterday someone was speculating that it might have been Mullar Omar who was shot who was missing his right out. And in this photo it not only looks like their is a hole over the right eye, but also that the right eye is missing. Hmmmmmm....

How could it be right? Wouldn't the American flag patch be backwards?

Crap! You're right. Now the star field is on the right side instead of the left.

That's how they are. I was told it was because of how it would look it being carried while marching forward. My guess is that the government accidentally made them all backwards so they have to make up a story and pretend it is what they meant to do. You know they wrote the book entitled, "How to turn a faux pas into a feature in 30sec flat with RHETORIC!"

It is supposed to be like a flag, blowing in the direction of the wind. they do the same thing on jets and such. you can google pictures of it.

:) Yeah I found this website that describes why...

For flag patches worn on uniforms, the same principle applies: the blue star field always faces towards the front, with the red and white stripes behind. Think of the flag, not as a patch, but as a loose flag attached to the Soldier's arm like a flag pole. As the Soldier moves forward, the red and white stripes will flow to the back.
