Washington (AP) - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday the killing of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is not the end of the war on terrorism and warned the network's members that the United States would be relentless in its pursuit of them.

Clinton said bin Laden's death at the hands of U.S. forces in Pakistan nearly a decade after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks proved the United States was committed to tracking down the perpetrators of extremist violence and bringing them to justice.

"Even as we mark this milestone, we should not forget that the battle to stop al-Qaida and its syndicate of terror will not end with the death of bin Laden," she said.

And all I got was a lousy corpse at the bottom of the sea.

That's the trouble with a war on terror. You can never declare victory.

That's the trouble with a war on terror. You can never declare victory.Exactly, and I'm amazed that so few Americans seem to understand this. How often do we hear anyone on the boob tube or mainstream media in general point out this fact?

We should all keep demanding to know: At what point can victory be declared in the War on Terror? What is the criterion? When every terrorist and potential terrorist on the planet has been eliminated forever? Is that possible? Wouldn't a "War on Murder" be just as logical?

Of course most here know the answer: the "War on Terror" is not meant to be won. It's meant to be perpetual war for the benefit of the military-industrial-security complex and Greater Israel. But the questions above really need to be asked more often and clear answers required. Maybe it will start to wake people up to the fact that they're being scammed.
