America(and the whole world) has not had an opportunity like him for awhile. I will be getting out my pocket book shortly.

I became American in 2000, and i often failed to see the true greatness of America, listening to Ron Paul helped me understand what was great about America.

Thank you Ron Paul for carrying the dimly lit torch of freedom, democracy, human rights, constitutional gov't, and conservative values, while the rest of us held our TV remotes.

Come on everybody get out your wallets, how much is freedom worth to you?

And if you are an immigrant like me, remember you pledged to protect the constitution from all enemies foreign and **domestic**. Nows the time, we can have our own wallet(velvet) revolution.

As far as I'm concerned, it's a great thread. Just the kind of stuff that battle weary folks need to see to reinvigorate themselves. Batten down the hatches my friend... You've found the shelter, but we're most definitely in the thick of the storm. And there are a lot of people who haven't yet found their way.

We've got a lot of work to do!

I RARELY reply to posts here, but this post is the ESSENSE of what it means to be an American.

Patrick don't let the talk of Ron Paul being "anti immigrant" bother you. Ron Paul IS ABSOLUTELY NOT anti immigrant. What he is against is people just walking across our sovereign border and basically welching off the system.

YOU are the absolute opitome of what America is all about and ONE OF OUR GREATEST STRENGTHS. I'm not sure what country you came from, but I'm guessing they are out one very good citizen and WE AS AMERICANS are all strengthened by your decision to become an American.

That is why America has triumphed these many years. We constantly DRAIN other countries of their best and brightest and our country GAINS from this flow.

It was only when we stopped recognizing that we had a southern border(or when we allowed thousands of cubans to just float here) that we have had immigration problems.

Immigrants more than just about ANYONE ELSE understand the power of America and the absolute opporitunity they are given by being Americans....

Welcome to the Ron Paul Revolution my friend and I'm glad you're a fellow American.

I want to add, erase all your doubts about Ron Paul, when the establishment shoves men down our throats who married their cousins, had 3 wifes, don't talk to their kids, or men that act on TV/ movies, or chicken littles that cannot admit we should end the war.

The establishment never doubts their choice.

Even with his current support, Ron Paul **will** change America. With even more support he can probably save it.

Never doubt the choice of Ron Paul. He is personifies the greatest generation/Jimmy Stewart type, and luckily he's a little younger. He has stayed in "Bedford Falls" for all of us for 20 years!

There is no perfect candidate, but he is the least flawed of the whole field.

Don't doubt Ron Paul, ignore the mainstream media, and donate.

I do not think Ron Paul is anti-immigrant. I think he is pro-freedom. He is polling well among african-americans. I think immigrants understand Ron Paul is a completely new but retro(in a good way) Republican.

By the way I am from Canada.
