why did it take so long?

why was he being harbored by ally we gave $$ to?

good time to get out of afghanistan, but we probably won't.

hah! Dr. Paul a "doubter"/conspiracy theorist. :) Called them out on the supposed DNA test.

obl wanted to bankrupt country and succeeded.

why does our government invite conspiracy theories? show the pictures

Medical questions about timing! kill, dna, and burial. Doesn't want to really go into it though until we get more information. Still wants more information before he makes definite conclusion but acknowledges governments do fib at times. Mentions pentagon papers!

you won't sound any worse than the host.

most regulations protect big business, people get terms mixed up. Big business and big banks get the benefit of regulation.

Diane asks about the "small guy" and protecting them...Ron counters with moral hazard in assuming there will be govt there to help them in case of an accident (coal mining, BP spill, etc)

LisaNY
05-03-2011, 08:27 AM
osha doesn't completely protect workers in hazerdous positions. Oil rigs still blow up, for example. Always a moral hazard when people expect the government to protect them. The industrial revolution provided jobs to the people, although it wasn't perfect from a safety standpoint.

LisaNY

no 'burning desire' to run again, but overwhelmed by support he is getting by people asking him to run. Also concerned about monetary issues. Worked 30 years to make monetary policy an issue, figures should run with it.

Those are just the people on Facebook right now. The general rule regarding reviews (and responses), especially concerning online things, is that people who dislike something or are angry are much more vocal. People who are satisfied are much less likely to speak up. You see this all the time in online product reviews.

Thanks.

I honestly didn't misrepresent myself to get on. I said I'd ask the man how he can in good conscience just cut people off from federal help. And I did. Of course, I made it sound like I'd pitch a hardball and pitched a softball, but that's not technically dishonest, is it? :D :D

I read the comments on the facebook page of the host. Some people are absolutely idiotic. A comment:

At its simplest level Paul displays the classic megalomaniacal condition. the mantra of no Governement then in the same breath, no the same sentence, 'all your choices will be dictated by us' This guy is the worst kind of domestic enemy, a creeping fascist with a fratured and damaged personality, sharpened by years of sick religious indoctrination with a personality disorder that reveals itself as cruel and as barabaric as you can get. A very very dangerous little man, and the right want to put this guy in charge of the largest Nuclear arsenal in the world. If their is one, God help us all!

Apparently the host has a medical condition that affects her speech.

From Wiki:

She has written two autobiographical books. The first, Finding My Voice, dealt with her traditional upbringing in a Christian Arab household, her brief first marriage and divorce, her 50-year marriage to John Rehm, raising her children, the first 20 years of her radio career, and her battles with depression, osteoporosis, and spasmodic dysphonia.[6] Together with John Rehm she co-wrote Toward Commitment: A Dialogue about Marriage, which was published in 2002.
