Hey guys.
I've been really upset with the reaction OBL's death had on so many people.
I thought, what's the point in saving people by ending war, etc. if people turn out like this. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but a few words that come to mind are: racist, selfish, phony (like the catcher in the rye), more concerned with popularity and following the crowd than ethics...
I was just reading some posts in general politics, and I realized a lot of people on RPF felt the same, so I thought I'd share this.
I have been posting a lot of responses to the racist and ignorant Osama comments people were making. And an old friend of mine sent me this:

See with freedom you have to live with the good and the bad. I think there are a decent number of good people out there.
Hope for the future. Don't give up.
