Ron Paul should raise this issue during the debates.

Of course, but don't confuse the warmongers by blaming America first. They hate us for our freedoms, even though we're fighting on the same side as the Islamicists in Libya so they can have more of the freedoms that they allegedly hate. Also, we have Islamic nations to build with Constitutions based on Sharia law, to prevent the spread of Sharia law.

But we have freedoms, so that supercedes blowbacks.

They hate because we have Freedoms. Ask Romney, he knows.

No, there supposed to wave the white flag now. Dammit, maybe someone should do a flyover and drop white flags now.

It's possible for peace negotiations to come out of this. Taliban's been warily allied with Al Qaeda. Just a few days after Taliban announces "Spring Offensive," Al Qaeda's spokesperson+ dies. Hillary's already called for peace negotiations with the Taliban. I'd guess their rejection of peace will be the new reason we can't pull troops out of Afghanistan as planned, or why we need to replace them with a higher number of private contractors who cost more.

We get to say ding, dong, the witch is dead, now we are bringing our troops back to the US and will leave you alone. We expect you to leave us alone in exchange.

Here's the meaning of Blowback:

Blowback (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowback_%28intelligence%29) is the espionage term for the violent, unintended consequences of a covert operation that are suffered by the civil population of the aggressor government.

Hmmmm - doesn't blowback (when Ron Paul uses the term) generally refer to policy employed by the gov't (for arguably good intentions) that has severe unintended consequences?

Like the Saudia military bases and propping up the Shah. Those were done (arguably by the Neocons) for good reasons, but they backfired badly. The death of OBL doesn't seem to be comparable.

That is correct. This thread is misusing the word "blowback"
