Can someone please find out how much taxpayer money we have given Pakistan, our supposed "ally", in the past 10 years while they were harboring Bin Laden? My guess is hundreds of billions but I don't know how where to look.

Don't know exactly but probably a lot. Since start of war on terror, Iraq and possibly Pakistan had become some of biggest recepients surpassing Israel if I'm not mistaken.

Were they milking it as long as possible to keep US engaged in a war there so we kept giving money to their military?

Well obviously. But doesn't the money that the US gives the Pakistani military end up back in our MIC when they purchase more military equipment? Isn't it just a never-ending cycle of weapons and contracts?

That's how the U.S. military suppliers get their money. Imagine how bad the economy would be if the government were not buying their products? /s
