I won't attack people who were obviously happy for whatever reason.

But, you seriously have to question what this changes. Even if you take the mainstream view of this war, what changes? It's an emotional and psychological victory that will only serve to boost poll numbers and support for the wars.

Adam, I think it's really important to note the age of many of those celebrating. Most likely their late teens, early twenties.

They grew up with this. I say this as someone who was 11 years old during the 9/11 attacks. Most probably knew not a damn thing about the world and politics. Then suddenly this event happens that is so huge that there is no way they can avoid it. The news then goes into overdrive for the next 3 years, screaming about terrorist threats, nuclear threats, etc etc. It really comes at no surprise that at the "end" of this, that they can think of nothing else but the current present and partying.

Yea! Sierra Nevada! (They hate us for our beer). Any excuse for a party... most people really don't have much knowledge about politics or the world.

Saw some Facebook postings from 14 year olds (distant relative and their friends) that were pretty funny:

"I thought the President was killed and they misspelled his name!"
"I don't know who Usama is."
"Who is Usama?"
"My mom says he is a guy that blows up planes and he's a terrorist."
"My dad is happy he's dead."

I am wondering who sent out the "flash mob" invitations.

Who ordered the police to NOT enforce the laws.

Somehow I'm reminded of one of those nuclear war movies {A bright shining light?) where they are talking about what an incredibly stupid thing it is to take out the leadership in an exchange as they are the only ones that can turn it OFF!

Our video of the celebration at the White House following the Bin Laden announcement has been pulled from YouTube because, "its content violated YouTube's Terms of Service." I can't even get the Russians I work for to censor ANYTHING I say, and I've tried, but YouTube wants to censor me for this?!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhXt4BjLL0g&feature=related Our video was 100% original footage!
