Fox News reporting the intel for this came from KSM and others at Gitmo.
They will use this as continuation for use of extreme interrogation tactics.
What is our argument against?
Also, good luck today to everyone attempting to talk to others rationally about this too!

It's unreliable - if you torture someone they will tell you aannnnyyyythhing you want to hear just to make it stop or to get better treatment.

But whatever was said (even if this is true, which I doubt) eventually got them to OBL. They said 4 years ago they were told info by KSM, so it took 4 years for them to work out a plan?

Information is pieced together over time. There is no proof the information was obtained under torture. There is no proof the guy new the person he may have known was actually associated with him and someone got lucky.
Torture is unreliable - PERIOD!

Torture may have worked in this instance, if they indeed get the name of the courier under interrogation. Maybe officials already knew his name and torture wasn't needed. That is the thing that stinks about big government, you never really know what the facts are, unless one side or the other is trying to score political points and facts are revealed to the public for their enragement or entertainment.

Based on statements given by U.S. detainees since the 9/11 attacks, they said, intelligence officials have long known that bin Laden trusted one al-Qaida courier in particular, and they believed he might be living with him in hiding.
Four years ago, the United States learned the man's identity, which officials did not disclose, and then about two years later, they identified areas of Pakistan where he operated. Last August, the man's residence was found, officials said.

Fox news and a few conservatives are saying this. It's not true that this was the thing that got them to the current place he was staying. Most of those guys didn't come in recently.
