Although I was out of the country during the 1974 outbreak, I distinctly remember reading about the carnage in the Stars & Stripes newspaper. For me, this recent outbreak brings back memories of great sadness.

It certainly sucks. We've now passed the death toll of the '74 outbreak and the number rises by the day.
