More or less..but this time around foreign policies price has caught up with the policy makers, state of police and economic state is such that there won't be kind of "banner ceremony" at a warship like Bush did.

One or both of these 2 are next, Ayman Al Zawahiri and/or Anwar Al Awlaki. One terrorist boogeyman will be propped up killed or captured every couple months to remind the public, Obama killed Osama and we're winning the war on terror.

In Obama's speech tonight, he purposefully mentioned a bunch of countries we're fighting Al Qaeda, this shit ain't over.

Sadly, I doubt we're going to get celebratory dancing in the streets welcoming our troops home... Of course this is what should happen, I just don't think they're going to stop their war machine. Bringing the troops home would be big win for Obama and America, but I'm not holding my breath.

One consolation..at least Obama was not wearing his bomber jacket.

Ironically it is seven years to the day when Bush did his whole Mission Accomplished stuff on May 1, 2003.

Hitler's death was also reported on May 1, 1945.

Nope. It is Bush's mission accomplished moment!

Yes and no. Yes, it's a political positive for Obama. No, the odds of Usama popping up again are pretty low, while Bush was wrong from the day he tried to declare victory.

If Obama had his way this day would have never arrived. Bush as poor as he was at least understood that Osama had to go and set the wheels in motion.
