CNN was rambling on about how "this isn't the end to terrorism, just one faction of it, in fact we need to heighten our awareness....and expect some blowback from many elements around the world who consider him a hero"

I hope so. I doubt it is in Obama's mind, however. It gives the Presidency too much power to give up.

If the War on terror is now over, than we alll should demand that the Patriot Act, the Real ID Act, and every other unconstitutional anti terror laws be repealed, and the DHS and TSA abolish.

Bin Laden’s Death Doesn’t Mean the End of Al Qaeda

The death of Osama bin Laden robs Al Qaeda of its founder and spiritual leader at a time when the terrorist organization is struggling to show its relevance to the democratic protesters in the Middle East and North Africa.

Experts said Bin Laden had been a largely symbolic figure in recent years who had little if any direct role in spreading terrorism worldwide. While his death is significant, these officials said, it will not end the threat from an increasingly potent and self-reliant string of regional Qaeda affiliates in North Africa and Yemen or from a self-radicalized vanguard here at home.
[...]

btw: Scheuer was just on FOX - I suspect he's going to have a busy day with lots of face time... He basically said he was glad UBL was dead, congratulated Obama for growing a pair and said that the WoT is far from over - that there are a lot of ppl out there that need to be dead.

Of course, this with the man made global warming, they can start killing off the 80-90% of people they want dead.

"CNN Officially Announces The End Of The War On Terror"

Really?

Did they announce that the Patriot Act will be repealed too? No! Didn't think so.

No doubt, TSA agents will still be frisking your children at the airports too.

They won't ever end "the war on terror".

It's too good a means to terrorize the people

LOL @0:34 he says "CIA-patsy, er paramilitaries as well."

LOL. Note that was Peter Bergen, the last western journalist to see OBL before 9/11. Now why could he find OBL but the CIA couldn't?

Geraldo was bragging last night that he'd been to 3 of OBL's houses....

Good vid!

Absolutely amazing....

Odd that the MSM left out all the booze being consumed in a national park. Oh, and most of those flag poles would normally land you in jail for possession of a "weapon" any other day, at that location.

"FREE" MY ASS!
