This is a status posted by my friend, who then linked to that above image. Please, someone get me that link that rebuts socialized healthcare and promotes free market healthcare to rebut this status.

It still blows my mind as to how shallow of an understanding people have. They see a list of increased benefits, and they think "oh, this must be good, right? See how much more we can help people? Ridiculous.

Uhh I can't remember. Let me try to list some of the points. And it may have been in mises.org. Can't remember though.

Socialized healthcare:

*Fails to create incentive for patients only get healthcare procedures that they absolutely need because it is not out of their own pocket
*It regulates the amount of doctors because of schools shutting down. It specifically said that 50% or more of schools shut down quickly or something like that and that many people would be willing to see grade B or even C doctors so that they wouldn't pay as much.
*It mentioned the inefficiency of the government handling the money
*It talked about the food bank dilemma.

Stuff like that. I can give more if needed. It was posted in a thread within this past week or two.
