I've been pretty much an agnostic on this issue - had some suspicions (based on this interview (http://www.esnips.com/doc/065311fc-09df-4b8c-9bc5-74fc0bada319/corsi-%28birth-certificate%29-dr.stan073009b) w/ Corsi 2 years ago) and it was interesting but I wasn't too worried about it - if the birther issue had died, I wouldn't have given a damn. Obama could still be a natural born citizen for all I know, but after considering the Alex Jones video, my gut tells me either Obama wants and intends to resign (perhaps he suspects the economic shit is about to hit the fan?) or he was set up to look bad by the person who did this forgery. If that puts me into loon territory, so be it. I'd like to say there are more important things to worry about (like preparing for Ron Paul's campaign), but again - I'll bet dollars to donuts that something BIG is going to happen as a result of this birth certificate controversy and this issue is NOT going to go away. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong - feel free to throw it back in my face.

It makes sense. The layered BC will be enough to give his supporters ammo to attack his detractors and it's just questionable enough to keep the issue front and center. It's kind of like the Monica Lewinski scandal. Sure Clinton was wrong as two left shoes, but is was a trivial enough issue for his supporters to rally around and yet serious enough to keep his opponents from concentrating on far more serious charges.

I wish they would have used the ten plus minutes a little more efficiently. I wished they would have at least suggested some guess as to why something such as the word "none" would not have been completed in a single layer? Why would "non" be in one layer and the "e" be in a separate layer? And, is there any possible reasonable explanation for the layers, period? Could the White House claim that the document was old and not nicely legible, so they enhanced certain characters for readability?

I'm ignorant about this. I would love it if you expanded on this a bit. Isn't AJ's employee implying that the White House actually posted the photoshop file (and that's how it can be deconstructed?) For example, if I scan a photoshopped document, can I deconstruct it with Photoshop? My naive guess would be "no" but I really don't know so I am appealing to you knowledge.

But it is my understanding that the HI Health Dept. released two certified hard copies. And that the White House scaned one and put it online? The HI Dept. of Health did not release a digital image.

But if Obama wants to resign he could do it a lot more seamlessly. He could say something to the effect of "In the bests interests of this country I love, I will not seek nor shall I accept the nomination for another term as your President. Our vision for the America of this century may better reside in the hands of one of the many great patriots in our Democratic Party." In other words, kind of an LBJ approach. It had occurred to me many months ago that if Obama's ratings continued to tumble dramatically that the Dems might try to run somebody different. Maybe Hillary 2.0.

I tried scanning a colored document that I have and I get layers in illustrator. Also the edges around letters and numbers are sharp. It must be OCR. I would have done it with the birth certificate, but I don't have a color printer.
