The freedom to get one if you want one.

Q: How much does a circumcisor earn?

A: $35 per hour, plus tips.

Heard a story about a doc who kept those in a drawer and when he had enough of them, decided to have them made into something.
He called a leather man and asked him to make something useful out of them. Five weeks went by and the leather man returned with a small box. The doc opened the box and found a very nice wallet.

Looking at the size of the wallet, he asked, did it take so many of those to make just this?
The leather man replied, just rub it and it turns into a brief case.

Some married and single people may claim that such a ban could interfere with their pursuit of happiness.

But something very strange is going on:

Steep Drop Seen in Circumcisions in U.S.
By RONI CARYN RABIN
Published: August 16, 2010

A little-noted presentation by a federal health researcher last month at the International AIDS Conference in Vienna suggested that the rate had fallen precipitously — to fewer than half of all boys born in conventional hospitals from 2006 to 2009, from about two-thirds through the 1980s and ’90s.

What happened around 2006 so earth shattering ( other than US public opinion starting to turn against Iraq war) that caused this trend?

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/17/health/research/17circ.html

There were rumors of Iraq war violence causing a jump in US pregnancies but this dip is hard to relate with public sentiment towards war and has to be just a coincidence.

Here comes the underground circumcision market! Sloppy, dirty circumcisions. It'll be a citywide EPIDEMIC!

It is an odd issue. While it does appear you are harming the child, you are simultaneously fighting off future infections and whatnot that are more common with uncircumcised peni (plural for penis...or not). Plus, there is still a little bit of a stigma. One could claim they are preventing the child from self-esteem issues later in life, brought on by the pro-circumcision global penis agenda

Yo. madfoot...didn't you weigh in on the last circumcision thread?

Why'd you think we needed yet another thread on the issue? I'm quite sure that there's far more important things happening right now...

Oh look, this thread again.

I'd still like an answer from those who defend circumcision: Why is male circumcision okay, but not female circumcision?
