Man Rand is such a better communicator than his dad. He knows how to answer the questions in a way that is not confrontational yet still gets the point across.

Anchor: "Do you view [Trump] as a legitimate Republican contender?"
Rand: "Well I'm not sure which party he's registered with now. I know he's been registered with many different parties throughout his history. I know he hasn't voted in a Republican primary in 21 years. So I don't know. It's hard for an entertainer or comedian to be treated seriously, and that's the big hurdle for him to overcome."

Rand knows he is campaigning for Ron Paul 2012 and Rand Paul 2016.

It is a win/win for us:)

I know! I was really impressed by Rand's ability to put the boots to Trump with a smile; to hammer on him so hard without seeming nasty about it. Very good, indeed.

Looks like Rand is going to be Ron's attack dog. He just lit into Trump in that interview and Ron would never do that. I like the idea of Rand being the surrogate mudslinger.

Rand's election opens up a huge opening to do things this election that couldn't be done the last time.

Hell yeah! And when Trump starts attacking Rand, he loses the Tea Party base. Brilliant.

very doubtful. way too much dirt on Trump. Virtually nothing on Rand, who, btw, won an election by 24 points.

Rand handled that Trump crap well. I really love that one smile of his, by the way, I consider it his 'I can take you' smile... He used it on Spitzer, too.

That is what the VP is supposed to do.

You misread me. Trump will lose the tea party base, as Rand is the "golden boy" right now.

And on Stephanapholous (sp) after the Rachel Maddow interview. George's face was practically screaming "He dares challenge the great Stephanapolous ?!?"

Rand just dropped the hammer on Trump, big time. Pointing out Ron Paul's 11 wins as a Republican, and Trump's donations to Reid and Rangle (@4:29). That was brutal. :D

The donations to Reid and Rangle comment was genius....twist that dagger Rand!! :)

Haha I never doubted Rand for a second. He's the Liberty movements best asset for the future! He's ruthless (which people love) but he's ruthless with the real issues in mind. LOVE IT.

He's has an Art of War ruthlessness. He's strategic, thoughful, and will beat you to political death with a velvet hammer and smile the whole time. Rand IS the future of our movement I think.:D

LOL Rand DESTROYED Trump in 60 seconds right there! He didn't even have to talk about Trump's stances on issues like universal healthcare. Trump has more dirt on himself than a 5-year old on a playground.

Rand is our secret weapon. He can bring Ron a LOT of votes.

devil21
04-27-2011, 12:19 AM
Here's the thing. If Rand's people request an appearance on ANY show, the media will comply due to his ratings. This is instead of waiting for a show to reach out to Rand. Rand can smear the shit out of any of Ron's opponents without Ron getting his hand's dirty in a mudslinging match. It's fuckin brilliant!

Rand MUST be Ron's attack dog in the media. There's no better method than this. Rand has years before he's up for reelection and good chance Rand will be running for POTUS and have no dirt on him to sling back. (Assuming Ron doesn't take the WH in 2012)

I LOVE IT

"He predicted the Housing Bubble."
"He predicted the Housing Collapse...the Housing Depression."

Ron Paul needs to remind the voters this especially at the
debates & he needs to remind them that when he said those
things at the 08' debates the other candidates just laughed.
