Chris Morgan (csmorgan@gmail.com), a Washington Party Insider has this to say about Ron Paul. Scroll all the way down to the end of the post to see the news articles about what he represents in the Washington State Republican Party.

Brent,

Granted, Jane made a mistake- but after 30 years of dedicating her life to our communities children, environment, yes, and Republicans- she is our friend and a good person. You are insulting, and if your only purpose is to help Ron Paul (only receiving a mere fraction of the Republican vote, although he is rather entertaining during the debates for his ridiculous positions) then I can tell you you're wasting your time. Your 3 degrees should give you enough sense to support someone with a scintilla of a chance at victory in 2008. Becoming a PCO, you should have more respect for the position, and support the endorsed candidates of your party. I have saved your email and I will make sure that your district chair and party organization will see your comments.

I became involved in the Republican Party to help promote Dr. Ron Paul's message of personal liberty and a return to constitutional government. I didn't join to help bail out Jane Hague, nor am I going to besmirch Dr. Ron Paul's good name by mixing her campaign literature in with Dr. Paul's. Drunk driving is one thing, but telling an arresting officer "Do you know who I am" and misleading people on her educational credentials is another thing. I worked hard to get three college degrees and have a really hard time respecting someone that doesn't finish her first degree, and then advertises herself as being a college graduate.

Hello All,

With only a few short weeks to go before the election, your support is needed now more than ever! We have a phone bank running every night to ensure that we get Jane's message out to the voters and keep a tireless advocate for the Eastside in office. If you can spare just one hour to make calls for Jane (easy ones, by the way – making sure Republicans are sending in their ballots for Jane) it would mean a great deal to the campaign and to Jane personally. As always, we will provide food and beverages and can even watch the kids if you'd like to bring them in!

Please let me know if you can make it for one hour on the following days:
October 26, 29, 30, 31, November 1, 2, 5, and 6th . Running shifts from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Or October 27th and November 3rd from 11am to the evening for a SUPER SATURDAY effort.
PHONE BANK IS LOCATED AT THE BELLEVUE OFFICES OF SHERRON & ASSOCIATES
12301 NE 10th Place, Suite 303
Bellevue, WA 98005
(feel free to call 206.718.3633 for directions)
Thank you so much for your work this election cycle, with one last push we can guarantee election in November!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require any additional information.

Regards,
-Chris Morgan

So supporting a drunk-driving liar is being a good Republican?

And Ron Paul's sensible conservative positions are ridiculous?

The party is lost. Nomatter how much we beat them over the head with facts, I don't think it will matter.

This is why Ron MUST run as a third party - even the good doctor cannot cure the neo-con disease in just a few months. He must save who he can, and then leave the party to collapse.

Brent it's bewildering to me that you would bother to stoke these sort of flames given the progress we have been making with the party here. Yes they are skeptical of us, but it's becoming clearer that the state party may be willing to forgo the primary effort for our support for Dino. This is good. Wouldn't it have been easier and tactically more sound to just not have responded or said you were busy or something? Please, Brent, don't let emotion get the better of you and allow to do anything to jeopardize your own chance's, those of other WA supporters, or even Ron Paul's.

I also urge others in WA and other states to keep focused on our goal and always remain tactful.

I've gotten non-stop demands to bail out Jane Hague, and I've politely indicated I'm not interested. But, the demands continue, and frankly I'm tired of it.

I'm not delivering Jane Hague's literature with Ron Paul's for this very reason. It is the Republican Party that is spending their time and money in an all out effort to promote Jane Hague. Don't believe me? Check out http://www.thetruthonpope.com and see who runs the web site. I didn't become involved to waste my time getting mixed up in this kind of stuff, and there is no rational basis for Republican Party leadership to expect me to help them out. This is their choice to go down this road.

Yes, being against the war would be ridiculous for someone who is controlled by special interests that thrive off of war. Fortunately, Dr. Paul is under no such influence.

Wow... that is so disgusting and appalling. I can't believe that there are actually people out there like that...

He is threatening you because of your political views? Telling someone they should support "the endorsed candidates of your party" is exactly what's wrong with America. You don't vote for "who has a scintilla of a chance," you don't vote for someone who is "the endorsed candidate." I can't believe someone would actually say that, and then threaten you.

What's PCO?

It looks like the good people of Seattle have two excellent choices in the race for city council. The guy running against the drunk-driving liar is a nutty attorney who sued Costco for selling an emergency food supply that he claims provided less nutrition per day than the average concentration camp inhabitant.

I thought that Portland politics was bad . . .

Big government Republicans and Democrats are going to find us ridiculous. They are going to find us offensive and annoying.

However, that's a good thing! It means we are being true to the message!
