I suggested the Miracleear but the Audibel is also pretty conspicious (I wear one of those that hang around my ear and have no qualms about that, but those that are late-deafened are obviously more conscious (sp) of what they wear).

I worked in radio for a while. Soooo many people are deaf and don't know it.

my father is the same as as Ron and color blind - when my mother died he started buying his own clothes and it was a disaster. I once caught him before going out on a blind date wearing a green checkered shirt with blue pants and brown shoes. He looked like a real bozo alright, only missing a shiny red nose. I made him call the woman and push it back until I could get to the mall and find him something else to wear. The date was a smashing success and they are still seeing each other 6 years later. It's a shame people are so shallow but unfortunately that is the way it is. Look at a picture of Ron in white shirt, red tie and dark suit vs. what he was wearing today. You will see a difference. In the former he looks younger and more distinguished, in the latter he looks drawn out and older. Trust.
