Ok, instead of the war on terror and 9/11 - let's talk snowballs.

Let's say there is a news organization that hosts a debate. But in hosting that debate, they inexplicably exclude a single man, the RP. Now the RP has a enthusiastic group of followers who take umbrage at the decision and one day pelt snowballs at a host from the news organization. That's blowback.

Now - you have a couple options:

Decide the attackers hated you for your hair (no other reason) and wanted to muss it up with the pelting. So you begin a War on Snowballs. Declare: "If you're not warm weather, you're cold weather." Created the SMA (Snowball Melting Authority.) Install heat lamps at all entrances - forcing people to endure a 5 minute basting before entering the grounds. Enact plans to invade Canada under the guise of being a breeding ground for WMS. (Weapons of Mass Snowballs.)

Or you could just freakin' admit it was wrong to exclude the RP and be done with it. Promise not to do it again or even let him in the debate at the last moment. Yes, the enthusiastic followers would declare victory - but if it is the right decision - then what's wrong with that?

Now, what choice would be wiser? and more likely to keep Hannity safe from his next pelting?
